Sleepy Girls

Some girls just can't party all night. These two snoozed together in a camping chair for a couple hours mid party.

The girls went for a walk

All too often I forget about taking pictures of courages daily and weekly routine, and only bother to bring the camera out for our bigger adventures. These were taken by my house along a road that the girls run on often. The Boxer Gaia, Courages play pal. Every day Gaia comes over to play when her mom goes to school, and the girls get to play together until she gets back at night. It's a great way to keep Courage happy while we're gone for the day, and makes it a little easier on us at night. At night a sleepy Vizsla is a happy Vizsla, a energetic crazy Vizsla is a happy Vizsla too, but one with a tired grumpy owner.
The photos pretty much sum up why I don't bring my camera on our usual walks too often. A walk to the girls means full speed gallop while chewing on each others ears and crashing through the woods. Which photogenically means one thing, MOTION BLUR. Trying to clearly capture the Vizsel Beazsel is action is a constant photographic challenge.

Vizsla makes debut at Annual Camping Trip

We decided to take advantage of the rainy weather and clean up some pics from this summer and fall. These are of a 10 day camping trip at a buddy's property in Chicago Park in August.

Courage had a bit of trouble staying warm at night, even in August its gets cold there for a Vizsla. She adapted by wearing a Camping trip shirt in the bar. While we hung out on the other side of the creek at night she took to digging a hole INSIDE the fire pit and curling up there...we tried kicking her out of there a few times, but she'd have none of it. She slept their every night at one point or another. Crazy little dog.

A big fan of the water, Courage spent most of the days tromping around the creek chasing water bugs and hunting for other things to keep herself entertained.
